We know that the waves in Europe aren’t as solid as they are, for example, in Hawaii, what’s going through your head?

You just have to resign yourself to it, and do what you can.  Besides, the waves here aren’t all that bad.

Why big waves?

Because what you look for in surfing is the adrenaline rush and the really strong sensations, there’s just no comparison between catching a little wave and a really big one.

How many metres do you want to reach by paddling for waves?
   
As high as I can, I’m not limiting myself.  Then again, I have it really clear in my head that I don’t want to be knocked unconscious and I have a lot of respect for the ocean.  I need to get used to the location, and to have a few days of catching good waves before finally getting the really big one.  The problem is that this hasn’t happened over the last few winters.
