After the warm reception and repercussion of last year’s event, between the months of January and March the possibility for hosting the competition will remain open.  This type of sport requires that the dates set for the event not be fixed, but rather, that they remain open because the conditions of the ocean are specific and a little fickle. 

LOCATION
The two locations which the organization have chosen for this year’s competition are, the area of Cape Silleiro where last year’s event was held, and boasts a virgin wave that had never been surfed before, and Santa Maria de Oia, more well known, has one of the most spectacular waves in Galica and supports some the largest waves.
